How it runs
From first call to qa & testing in production
You see working software early and can change direction while it is still cheap.
- 01
Learn the product
We use the product as your customers do and list the journeys where a bug costs the most. - 02
Write the plan
We agree what is tested by hand, what is automated, and on which devices and browsers. - 03
Test and automate
We test each release and grow the automated suite so the same bug cannot return unnoticed. - 04
Report and sign off
You get clear bug reports during the cycle and a sign-off summary before every release.
Questions
QA & testing: what people ask
Manual or automated testing?
Both. Automation covers the checks that repeat every release. People test new features, odd devices and anything that needs judgement.
Can you test an app you did not build?
Yes. Most of our QA work is on products built by other teams. We start with a walkthrough and access to a test environment.
Do you do penetration testing?
Yes, for web apps, mobile apps and APIs, following OWASP guidance. We agree the scope and written permission first, and rank findings by risk with a fix for each.
Planning qa & testing work?
Tell us where things get stuck today. We will reply with a plan, not a pitch.
